GS PMO Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Shanghai, China; full-time or part-time position

What you will do

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines that consolidate project and resource data into a unified analytical framework.
• Design dashboards and deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting on PM utilization, project benchmarks, workload distribution, milestone-level hours, and project outcomes.
• Improve data quality and reporting standards across the PM-ROW organization.
• Maintain and develop the PM-ROW SharePoint Digital Hub, including lists, libraries, dashboards, and Power Automate workflows.
• Digitalize and structure the project-management knowledge base, including templates, guidelines, and reference materials.
• Explore and pilot AI-supported project-execution use cases with Copilot Studio, OpenAI, Anthropic models, and hirify.global tools.

Requirements

• Completed degree in data science, business analytics, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with either Alteryx and Tableau, or Power BI and SQL, including the relevant workflow design, data blending, dashboard, modeling, Power Query, extraction, and querying capabilities.
• Experience with SharePoint administration, including lists, libraries, and basic Power Automate workflows.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and result-driven approach with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills, independent work ethic, teamwork capabilities, and entrepreneurial capabilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting within a project-based or engineering environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, or Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of project-management concepts and KPIs such as utilization, milestones, and budget variance.
• Experience with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Platform and Teams integrations.
