MineStar Onboard Specialist (Mining Technology)

Location: Redcliff, Western Australia; Perth-based position with regular travel to mine sites on an 8/6 roster. Domestic relocation may be offered to the ideal candidate. Flexible work arrangements may be available based on business requirements.

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise and support for MineStar onboard systems across customer mining operations.
• Support implementation, configuration, commissioning, optimisation, system health checks and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving onboard hardware, software and communications systems.
• Work with customers, site personnel, maintenance teams, dispatch operators and mine leadership to improve fleet utilisation, productivity and technology adoption.
• Deliver training and coaching on MineStar functionality and operational workflows, and support change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, support and product teams, communicate customer feedback and maintain customer relationships through technical consultation.

Requirements

• Experience supporting mining technology, fleet management systems or operational technology solutions within the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, mobile equipment and fleet management processes.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting technical systems in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, customer service and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global MineStar solutions.
• Knowledge of Fleet, Terrain, Detect, Health or Command technologies.
• Experience supporting Autonomous Haulage Systems, Fleet Management Systems or related mining technologies.
• Background in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience working on operational mine sites in production, maintenance or technology environments.
