Lead Decision Scientist (Security)

Location: Hybrid work in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania, with two recommended office days per week. Remote work is permitted for up to 90 days per year in the EU, with limited worldwide workation days.

Gross monthly salary: €6,167–€8,342 EUR.

What you will do

• Design decision frameworks for applying security restrictions such as verification challenges and account bans.
• Measure and balance member friction against prevention of malicious activity.
• Lead strategic discovery across the user journey, including duplicate accounts, bot patterns, and security tooling decisions.
• Build and maintain the Security metric tree and guide measurable target-setting.
• Raise standards for A/B testing and causal inference in complex environments.
• Coach embedded Decision Scientists and improve data literacy across Security teams.

Requirements

• Senior individual-contributor experience in Decision Science, Product Analytics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience designing metric systems and decision frameworks for ambiguous trade-offs.
• Strong practical knowledge of A/B testing and causal inference.
• Ability to structure open-ended business problems into actionable analytical solutions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis and modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience in trust and safety, fraud prevention, risk assessment, cybersecurity, or two-sided marketplaces.
