iOS Lead Engineer (SwiftUI)

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania; two office days per week are recommended but not enforced

Salary: €6,542–€8,842 gross per month

What you will do

• Own the technical direction, architecture, and design decisions for the shared iOS design system and component library.
• Develop composable and flexible UI components that enable product teams to build screens without forking or patching.
• Lead SwiftUI migration, modern UI patterns, and AI-ready documentation, components, and generation workflows.
• Define module boundaries, dependency direction, APIs, RFCs, and ADRs for shared iOS packages.
• Improve CI/CD, testing strategy, build times, flaky test reduction, and developer feedback loops.
• Represent iOS in the Frontend Platform Council, collaborate across disciplines, and mentor engineers through reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, and modernizing large-scale iOS applications.
• Solid knowledge of Swift concurrency, including async/await, structured concurrency, task cancellation, actors, and data-race prevention.
• Experience with modular iOS applications, module ownership, dependency direction, and API design.
• Experience building or scaling a design system or component library used by multiple teams.
• Experience improving engineering quality and productivity through CI/CD, testing, build optimization, and reliable feedback loops.
• Clear spoken and written English is required.
