Demand Planning Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; onsite

Annual base salary: $77,440–$87,120

What you will do

• Create consensus forecasts using sales, statistical, and customer forecast inputs while balancing Sales and Operations priorities.
• Evaluate forecast sets, monitor actual results against targets, perform gap analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance on demand updates, customer revenue and unit expectations, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and cross-plant revenue planning.
• Prepare demand reports, analyses, and KPIs, and improve forecast accuracy and bias through repeatable processes and best practices.
• Maintain critical data sources, optimize forecast parameters and statistical models, and support software-based KPI generation.
• Become a business expert in the corporate Demand Planning software and collaborate with global BT to sustain and optimize the system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of Demand Planning experience; alternatively, 5+ years of Demand Planning experience in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work successfully in a matrix environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong working knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Logility, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to travel as needed to support business needs.

Nice to have

• Demand Planning or statistical forecasting experience.
• Experience with Sales & Operations Planning.
• Financial acumen combined with an effective interpersonal style.
• Track record of cross-functional interaction.
