Sr Analyst, Data Performance

Location: Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica; remote with occasional in-person attendance at work-related events

What you will do

• Analyze complex datasets using statistical techniques and produce ongoing reports with actionable insights.
• Develop databases, data-collection systems, analytical approaches, and solutions that improve data quality and statistical efficiency.
• Conduct data-shift and score analyses for major data events affecting consumers, customers, or business outcomes.
• Investigate data anomalies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities across large volumes of information.
• Partner with internal teams on data attributes, processing rules, data matching, linking, product consulting, and engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with large datasets, data management, data analysis, or data performance activities.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL for retrieving, analyzing, validating, and investigating data.
• Experience creating analytical reports and presenting findings through data visualization, plus strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau for dashboards and data-quality trend analysis.
• Exposure to Ab Initio or comparable enterprise data-processing and integration technologies.
• Experience with Linux environments, data matching, record linking, attribute development, or data-processing rule design.
• Ability to learn new technologies and recommend continuous-improvement opportunities.
