Content & Knowledge Base Manager (AI)

Location: Gilching, Bavaria, Germany; on-site with the option to work remotely one flexible day per week

What you will do

• Build, curate and maintain a central library of approved, reusable proposal content, including product descriptions, standard answers, references, certifications and supporting evidence.
• Define information architecture, taxonomies, metadata, ownership, permissions, approval workflows and content lifecycle processes.
• Connect the Content Library with product databases and PLM systems through structured data, source references and automated update workflows.
• Introduce and govern AI-assisted search, retrieval and drafting, monitoring relevance, answer accuracy and source traceability.
• Own bid and proposal templates, reusable content modules and guidance for adapting proposals to tender requirements.
• Coordinate product briefings, expert sessions, workshops and learning materials for bid teams.

Requirements

• Experience in proposal content management, knowledge management, technical writing or a comparable role in a complex technical environment.
• Practical experience with content libraries, taxonomies, metadata, permissions, version control and review workflows.
• Understanding of connected content platforms, product databases, PLM systems and information architecture.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted search, retrieval-augmented generation, answer evaluation and responsible AI use.
• Strong collaboration skills across Bid Management, Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing and IT.
• Confident written and verbal communication in both German and English is required.

• Experience in Bid & Proposal Management.
• Qualifications in knowledge or information management.
• Training in AI governance and responsible AI use.
