Quality Assurance Engineer (IoT)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Create and map test scenarios and develop test cases.
• Perform API, manual functional, and automated testing for cloud and firmware-related products.
• Identify, document, and track bugs while evaluating test results.
• Review system requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
• Promote a proactive culture of quality by identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience developing test cases and performing manual functional testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and communicate improvement suggestions.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with firmware, hardware, IoT devices, load testing, or performance testing.
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions, version control systems, and CI/CD automation.
• Startup or scale-up experience.
