Senior Test Analyst

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid work with occasional team meetups at the Prague offices

What you will do

• Define test entry and exit criteria for complex banking applications.
• Create detailed test scenarios and complex test data independently.
• Analyze test results and defects, collaborating on their resolution.
• Manage test cases, imports, defects, and testing workflows in JIRA and Zephyr.
• Use logging and testing tools to support integration, automated, and performance testing.
• Collaborate independently with analysts, developers, and other delivery roles.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience testing banking applications, including branch, digital-channel, or back-office systems.
• Proficiency with analysis based on provided specifications, Enterprise Architect, UML, and Oracle SQL.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and the ability to estimate complex testing tasks.
• Practical experience with JIRA, Zephyr, logging tools, and basic execution of integration, automated, and performance tests.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent Advanced Level knowledge.
• Excellent Czech or Slovak and fluent English are required for communication with international teams.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of banking products and the financial domain.
• Experience with complex transformation projects, particularly product migration.
• Experience with SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Bruno, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, PEK, Graylog, or Kibana.
