SMM, PR & Content Manager

Location: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; hybrid work. Working hours: 7am–1pm PST, Monday–Friday, with remaining hours flexible. The role supports the American market.

IRBIS is a rapidly developing company building a recognizable local and internationally positioned brand through social media, public relations, conservation initiatives, and events.

What you will do

• Build and manage the social media and content strategy across IRBIS channels, including monthly content calendars and trend-based content.
• Develop scripts, concepts, shot lists, and filming preparations; coach leadership and technicians remotely during field shoots.
• Collect job-site footage, coordinate client consent and on-site filming, prepare platform-specific videos, and publish content across relevant channels.
• Maintain project listings and portfolios on the website, Google Business Profile, and Yelp.
• Lead PR activities, including media relationships, article placements, backlinks, brand mentions, podcasts, interviews, and awards.
• Support the Snow Leopard Conservation initiative and manage company events from planning through lead tracking and follow-up.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media, content, or PR, supported by a portfolio with measurable results.
• Strong scriptwriting and hook development skills for short-form video.
• Hands-on knowledge of the relevant social media platforms and their algorithms.
• Experience directing shoots and coaching non-actors on camera, including remotely by video call.
• Experience pitching press, placing articles, earning backlinks, using analytics, and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Strong written English and availability for the required Pacific Time working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in home services, trades, or local service businesses.
• Basic video editing skills with CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
• Event planning or community management experience.
• Experience in cause-driven or conservation marketing.
