Data Intelligence Specialist (Collections & New Businesses)

Location: São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid model with remote work and in-person days each month

What you will do

• Model and build data layers for collections across new products and business initiatives, including tables, entities, events, and aggregations.
• Map source data, identify instrumentation gaps, and maintain data quality, consistency, documentation, and reliability.
• Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reporting routines, and auditable metric logic for initiative performance.
• Automate recurring reporting outputs and support management and leadership forums.
• Conduct queries, data cuts, and ad hoc analyses; validate reported figures and identify anomalies or unexpected patterns.
• Translate technical work and data findings into clear explanations for business and senior audiences.

Requirements

• Experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence roles.
• Prior experience in credit, collections, or recovery, with knowledge of relevant metrics and lifecycle logic.
• Advanced SQL and ownership of production dashboards used for recurring business management.
• Experience building data structures and dashboards from the ground up where no data foundation previously existed.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities alongside initiatives that are still being defined.

Nice to have

• Python for analysis and automation, plus experience with dbt, Airflow, or equivalent transformation tools.
• Ability to perform analysis and interpretation beyond infrastructure development.
• Experience supporting strategy or business teams directly.
• Experience with financial products or marketplace business models.
