Design Lead (AI)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid work with partial remote flexibility

What you will do

• Define the design vision for the next 6–12 months in line with product strategy and business priorities.
• Set design quality standards across product, digital, graphic, and marketing design, and conduct regular design reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and develop designers through goal setting, feedback, career planning, and performance reviews.
• Lead strategic product initiatives while contributing hands-on to product design and supporting hiring.
• Validate product hypotheses through prototyping, usability testing, user research, and product analytics.
• Develop design systems, maintain visual consistency, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design for digital products or SaaS.
• Experience leading design projects within cross-functional teams.
• Strong Figma skills and hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Understanding of product metrics and data-informed design, plus experience with user research and usability testing.
• Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to combine strategic design leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Experience designing complex interfaces.
• Graphic design experience.
