Technical Product Owner, Enterprise Search & AI

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, or the hirify.global Facility in Austin, Texas; at least four days per week on-site. Relocation may be authorized. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel.

Expected compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

hirify.global develops products and technologies across global markets, with this role supporting enterprise search, digital commerce, content discovery, and AI applications.

What you will do

• Translate enterprise search and AI platform strategy into technical requirements, user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize the tactical backlog across search infrastructure, APIs, ingestion pipelines, index architecture, and AI retrieval capabilities.
• Guide sprint execution with the Enterprise Search Tech Lead and vendor engineers, including relevance tuning, infrastructure-as-code changes, and AI model integration.
• Lead user acceptance testing and validate search performance, relevance accuracy, API response times, and AI output quality.
• Monitor platform adoption and feedback across product navigation, digital commerce, and AI assistants.
• Coordinate dependencies, releases, CI/CD deployments, technical quality metrics, and business value measurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field.
• At least seven years of experience in technical product ownership, product management, or software engineering.
• At least three years owning or managing search, data platform, or AI-driven product portfolios.
• Experience with hybrid retrieval, semantic or vector search, RAG pipelines, LLM grounding, or agentic AI use cases.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Must work on-site at least four days per week in Maplewood, Minnesota, or Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience working with vendor engineers and cross-functional product, program, and business relationship teams.
• Experience with search relevance KPIs, index health, pipeline reliability, and AI model performance metrics.
