Senior Director of Global Cost Management & SAP CO Strategy (SAP CO)

What you will do

• Lead cost controlling for manufacturing operations, including product costs, labor, overhead, material usage, standard costs, and manufacturing variances.
• Serve as the functional subject-matter expert and business owner for SAP Controlling processes.
• Design, implement, optimize, and continuously improve SAP CO functionality covering cost centers, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis, allocations, assessments, and variance analysis.
• Ensure financial and operational master-data integrity, establish controlling controls, and develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics.
• Support month-end close, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost-reduction initiatives, and reconciliation with Accounting and FP&A.
• Lead cross-functional Finance, IT, Operations, and SAP projects, including requirements, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, controlling, financial analysis, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong experience with SAP CO and related SAP Finance functionality, including manufacturing cost accounting and product costing.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, cost allocations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with IT and business stakeholders on ERP implementations, enhancements, and system projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, advanced Excel, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA experience and SAP CO certification or equivalent expertise.
• Experience with SAP PP, MM, and FI integration.
• Experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization and with standard and actual costing.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and SAP implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant advanced qualification.
