Sr. SW Engineer

Location: US - Denver, CO; office setting with 5–10% travel required

Salary: $112,100–$173,400 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve secure, scalable software products, services, and components.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with product, design, data science, QA, operations, and compliance stakeholders.
• Contribute to system architecture, design documentation, project estimation, and solution planning.
• Develop and review code, apply coding standards, debug issues, and create test plans for multiple features.
• Respond to support requests during on-call rotations and deploy fixes under guidance.
• Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance using modern developer tools, cloud services, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
• Experience with system design and architecture for product components.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting software issues, reviewing code, and applying coding standards.
• Experience planning and executing software feature tests, responding to support requests, and deploying fixes.
• Digital fluency, including the ability to use emerging technologies such as generative AI tools.

• Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
• Experience working on client-facing project or technical teams.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• An advanced degree with relevant professional experience.
