Spanish Copywriter & Localization Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Write Spanish marketing copy for ads, landing pages, emails, push notifications, social media, video scripts, and in-app content.
• Develop campaign ideas and adapt headlines and messages to platform character limits.
• Translate and localize English campaigns for the Colombian market, including examples, dates, offers, instruments, and product references.
• Maintain the English-Spanish trading glossary and Spanish style guide, using translation memory and AI tools where appropriate.
• Proofread creative content, verify financial terminology and numerical details, and attach the required Colombia risk warning.
• Coordinate compliance and legal reviews, implement feedback, and maintain version control through sign-off.

Requirements

• Spanish proficiency, preferably Colombian Spanish, and professional English in writing and speaking.
• At least 3 years of experience writing or translating marketing content from English into Spanish.
• Experience or strong interest in financial services, fintech, banking, or trading.
• A portfolio containing Spanish work translated or adapted from English, with the original source included.
• Working knowledge of trading terminology such as forex, CFDs, leverage, margin, spreads, and pips.
• Degree in translation, linguistics, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
