Transaction Monitoring Developer (AML): Building a next-generation AML detection platform for capital markets with an accent on scalable data pipelines, rule-based detection frameworks, scoring components, and distributed data processing. Location: Flexible hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź, Poland
Salary: 1,100–1,450 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimise AML detection data pipelines for large-scale capital markets environments.
- Implement detection rules, scoring models, and alerting frameworks for financial crime prevention.
- Process and analyse high-volume datasets using Python, Java, PySpark, and SQL.
- Develop distributed data processing solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, data quality, observability, and resilience.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment, testing, and validation processes.
- Integrate AML solutions with case management platforms and other third-party enterprise systems while participating in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL for large-scale data processing.
- Experience with distributed computing platforms and on-premise environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of capital markets products, including FX, equities, derivatives, and bonds.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in AML, financial crime, surveillance, or rule-based detection systems.
- Familiarity with automation, testing frameworks, and third-party system integrations.
- Experience with Quantexa, Scale, AML detection frameworks, or capital markets platforms.
