Senior Software Developer (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid in Beirut, Lebanon

What you will do

• Design, train, evaluate, and ship forecasting, classification, and recommendation models for product features.
• Compare model approaches against baselines, document decisions, define evaluation criteria, and monitor models in production.
• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into chat, automation, personalization, retrieval, and agentic self-service workflows.
• Build, maintain, and debug ingestion, transformation, feature, and data-quality pipelines across a bronze/silver/gold/platinum architecture.
• Participate in demos, launches, requirements discussions, and troubleshooting calls with clients, partners, product managers, and sales teams.
• Define architecture and technical direction, write tested code, and troubleshoot production model, data, and client-facing issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping machine learning or AI systems in production.
• Strong applied ML experience across model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, data quality, feature engineering, and performance analysis.
• Strong Python and open-source ML experience, including tools such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or statsmodels; solid SQL and API design skills.
• Hands-on production experience with AI and LLM features, such as RAG pipelines, vector databases, or related infrastructure.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including cloud data pipelines, ETL, model deployment, and production monitoring.
• Fluent written and spoken English and availability for hybrid work in Beirut, Lebanon; strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Java, Spring, or Spring Boot and experience with Go.
• Experience with generative avatars, video rendering, speech-to-text, transcription, or multilingual voice input.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks, multi-step tool use, MLOps, experiment tracking, model versioning, and drift monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Vue, React, or Node.js for prototyping model interfaces.
