SEO/GEO Content Manager (French or German)

Location: Munich, Germany. Hybrid working with 60% of time in the office and 40% at home; up to 20 days abroad in approved countries.

Salary: €51,100–€70,300 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver SEO and GEO content projects from research and briefing through publication, measurement, and optimization.
• Conduct keyword, topic, competitor, search-demand, and user-intent research across European markets.
• Build topic-cluster content plans around pet-care trends, product trends, seasonality, and local market needs.
• Create content briefs and optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and structured content.
• Monitor organic visibility and visibility in AI- and LLM-powered search experiences, turning performance data into improvements.
• Coordinate with SEO, Product, Technology, Editorial, Brand, local market teams, agencies, freelancers, and translation partners.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce, an in-house team, or an agency.
• Strong experience in SEO content strategy, keyword and topic research, content briefing, on-page optimization, and project delivery.
• Practical experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or comparable tools.
• Experience with Contentful, WordPress, or a similar content management system, plus an understanding of technical and off-page SEO.
• Strong analytical, project-management, organizational, and external partner coordination skills.
• Native or bilingual German or French at C2 level, alongside professional written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with GEO, AI search, or monitoring content visibility in LLM-powered search.
• Experience in e-commerce, localization, translation partnerships, or multiple European markets.
• Experience optimizing content for YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok.
• Knowledge of another European language and an interest in pets or the pet-care industry.
