TL;DR
Senior QA Engineer (Robotics/AI): Developing comprehensive manual and automated testing for robotic software and industrial device systems with an accent on test automation, CI/CD integration, and hardware-software quality validation. Focus on stress testing software drivers, investigating production issues, designing non-functional tests, and taking full QA ownership of a project.
Location: On-site in Hanoi, Vietnam, with 1 day of work from home

's client develops robotic software and systems for precision handling, assembly, inspection, and other high-accuracy, high-agility industrial applications.
What you will do
- Create comprehensive manual and automated test cases for in-house software.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in the internal CI/CD system.
- Perform exploratory, regression, integration, smoke, stress, and non-functional testing across software and hardware.
- Investigate production issues with engineers and customers, including on-site troubleshooting, and prepare issue reports.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to improve user stories and requirements.
- Own quality assurance for one project and coach junior staff when required.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of general testing experience, including at least 3 years of automated software testing for Web UI, API, or desktop applications.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Tables, and Error Guessing.
- Experience with Python or Java and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience working in Agile teams with BDD/TDD and shift-left testing practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, plus testing of both software and hardware.
- Proficient English communication in reading and writing is required. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with desktop application, hardware, electrical, or mechanical automation testing.
- Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with robotics, motion planning, control, computer vision, or AI products.
