What you will do

• Investigate suitable methods and tools for simulating compression drivers.
• Model the acoustic behavior of compression drivers operating at very high sound pressure levels.
• Build a physical prototype of the simulated compression driver.
• Evaluate similarities and differences between simulation results and actual measurements.
• Define the thesis objectives and scope together with the supervisors based on the research direction and student interests.

Requirements

• Strong interest in audio, mechanics, and signal processing.
• Current study in a Master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field.
• Affiliation with a Swedish university or college, either directly or through an exchange program.
• The thesis is intended for two students completing 30 credits over 20 weeks each; paired applications are encouraged.
• Applications may be submitted in Swedish or English and must include a CV and university or college grade summary.
