Cloud Security Engineer (Azure/GCP)

Location: Hybrid role based at Petousis House, Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus

What you will do

• Oversee cloud security governance, monitoring, and cloud-native security controls.
• Maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions and support DSPM capabilities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, development, and GRC teams as a cloud security subject-matter expert.
• Conduct security reviews, identify vulnerabilities and missing controls, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Develop security documentation, recommendations, and best practices for cloud environments.
• Participate in security incident investigations and automate security-related tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical security role.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of CSPM and DSPM solutions and cloud infrastructure security.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, serverless systems, and code or artifact repositories.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise IT and architecture, including TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, Windows/Linux, web servers, and database servers.
• Basic Python or Shell scripting skills, basic AI knowledge, and effective spoken and written English communication.

• Knowledge of AWS cloud.
• Security, systems, or networking certifications.
• Hands-on experience with modern application development approaches.
