Sr. Manager, Asset Management - Renewable Energy Investments (St. Louis or St. Pete)

Location: Hybrid role based in Saint Louis, Missouri, or Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States. Travel for project site visits, business meetings, and conferences may be required for approximately 5–10% of the role.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of closed renewable energy tax credit investments, including ITC and PTC transfers, tax equity, and hybrid structures.
• Oversee reporting and compliance requirements across wind, solar, renewable natural gas, advanced manufacturing, and clean fuels projects.
• Evaluate project operational reports, financial models, cash waterfalls, tax returns, and K-1s, coordinating with subject-matter experts when needed.
• Prepare periodic investor reports containing qualitative and quantitative analysis, narrative conclusions, and customized visual analytics.
• Coordinate with third parties to satisfy capital provider obligations and support funding processes.
• Maintain accurate asset management records and contribute to strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in tax credit asset management and/or investment operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Microsoft Excel modeling skills and interest in complex project finance models.
• Understanding of renewable energy project finance transactions and/or tax credit equity.
• Knowledge of financial, tax, accounting, and investment concepts, with strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Saint Louis or Saint Petersburg.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy asset management, project development, accounting, insurance, or finance.
• Experience with non-renewable energy assets such as natural gas, carbon capture, or manufacturing.
