Senior Benefits Account Manager (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, New York, Portland, or remote within the United States

Salary: $121,700–$152,100 USD for employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area; $109,500–$136,900 USD for employees elsewhere in the United States

What you will do

• Guide SMB and startup customers in designing benefits packages and selecting appropriate plans.
• Own the end-to-end insurance enrollment process, including accurate and timely form submission.
• Maintain accurate health insurance information in internal systems.
• Communicate proactively with customers and resolve benefits issues.
• Build and improve internal processes that prevent missed enrollments.
• Manage renewals and open enrollment while solving complex issues across carriers, platforms, and regulations.

Requirements

• Active Life & Health broker license required.
• Experience selling or administering small-group benefits across multiple states.
• Experience working with SMBs and startups.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to build resilient systems and processes.
• Strong customer empathy and clear communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex benefits decisions in plain English.
