Senior Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania, or Helsinki, Finland

What you will do

• Analyze, validate, challenge, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Lead analysis activities, estimate effort, and drive solution design discussions within a multidisciplinary Agile team.
• Design and document enterprise-grade solutions for high-volume, high-availability applications, APIs, integrations, and messaging architectures.
• Assess feasibility, risks, dependencies, business impact, and impacts on existing systems and integrations.
• Support developers, testers, and DevOps engineers throughout delivery, including sanity testing and post-release validation.
• Provide Level 3 production support and contribute to continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience gathering, refining, prioritizing, and documenting requirements in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of software delivery processes, technology ecosystems, databases, data structures, and SQL validation.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, messaging-based architectures, and functional design.
• Basic hands-on experience validating mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Advanced English proficiency, strong analytical and communication skills, and effective stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital products, digital service delivery, multichannel platforms, and customer-facing applications.
• Banking, financial services, or fintech experience.
• Knowledge of change management, defect tracking, and Agile development methodologies.
