Junior WordPress Developer

What you will do

• Develop complex, data-intensive enterprise WordPress websites and e-commerce applications.
• Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins, widgets, and themes.
• Implement service and payment gateway integrations.
• Improve WordPress application performance, security, and upgrade readiness.
• Collaborate with the development team while taking ownership of assigned work.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of web development experience and a portfolio of high-quality work.
• Strong WordPress development experience, including large-scale enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of OOP and experience with complex plugin, widget, and theme development.
• Knowledge of MySQL, jQuery, and at least one PHP-based MVC framework.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar discipline is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magento or another PHP-based e-commerce content management system.
• Experience integrating external services and gateways.
