Logistics Operation Coordinator (Air & Ocean Operations) (International Freight): Coordinating air export, ocean import, OTR, terminal, customs, and shipment tracking operations with an accent on documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time transportation. Focus on monitoring multimodal freight, resolving delays and customs holds, coordinating carriers and brokers, and improving transit time and logistics cost.
Location: Santa Ana, California, United States. Onsite logistics coordination with weekend shifts on a Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Compensation: USD 28–31 per hour.

What you will do
- Create and maintain tracking reports for air export, ocean import, OTR, and weekend operations.
- Coordinate departure schedules with ports, terminals, airports, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners.
- Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments while monitoring milestones, cutoffs, arrivals, and exceptions.
- Prepare and validate shipping instructions, MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, SLI, export declarations, and delivery documentation.
- Manage customs clearance, TSA/IATA and dangerous goods compliance, claims, examinations, holds, cancellations, rollovers, offloads, and rebookings.
- Measure operational KPIs and improve capacity planning, transit times, service reliability, and logistics costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics coordination, with strong international air and ocean freight experience.
- Hands-on experience in international air, ocean, and OTR freight forwarding, transload warehouse operations, and truckload dispatch.
- Strong knowledge of international freight regulations, customs procedures, hazardous materials requirements, and security standards.
- Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, TMS, WMS, or equivalent, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- English required; role is based in Santa Ana, California.
