TL;DR
Director of Security Assurance & Trust (Cybersecurity): Leading customer-facing field security strategy and advising Sales, Product, and Engineering on business-critical security requirements with an accent on enterprise security assurance, regulatory compliance, and customer trust. Focus on consulting senior stakeholders, managing complex security initiatives, and building scalable, resilient controls across frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, the EU AI Act, and DORA.
Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid role requiring office attendance at least two days per week. Other location: New York City. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Advise Sales, customers, prospects, and regulators on cybersecurity strategy and business-critical security concerns.
- Own and communicate ’s security narrative, posture, roadmap, and philosophy in customer-facing engagements.
- Translate customer requirements and regulations into clear security objectives with business, product, and functional leaders.
- Assess customer needs and allocate Field Security resources from product, technical, and security perspectives.
- Lead complex project plans, specifications, schedules, and stakeholder decisions for strategically important security situations.
- Define the Field Security strategic roadmap and implement scalable, resilient, and effective controls.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional experience in information security, field security, or customer-facing technical leadership.
- Experience consulting senior leaders and enterprise customers on business-critical security concerns and operational implications.
- Strong understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, the EU AI Act, DORA, and related compliance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience establishing organizational standards and managing complex project plans in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
