Machine Learning Engineer (MLOps, GCP, GenAI)

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands; hybrid work with 1 to 2 days per week at the office near Schiphol

What you will do

• Productionise machine learning models and integrate them into operational systems from data preparation through deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Build and improve scalable machine learning infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and deploy LLM and RAG solutions for production use.
• Support AI applications for flight operations, workforce planning, meal planning, and delay optimisation.
• Apply engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, Git, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, MLOps, or software development.
• Strong Python and software engineering skills.
• Experience deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production.
• Experience with cloud-based machine learning, preferably GCP, as well as Docker, SQL, REST APIs, and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and RAG.
