TL;DR
Lead Frontend Engineer (JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript): Building large-scale, secure, and high-performance web applications for a European public sector organization with an accent on frontend architecture, accessibility, reusable UI components, and client-side integrations. Focus on designing scalable interfaces, integrating authentication and authorization, optimizing performance and cross-browser compatibility, and contributing to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania

What you will do
- Design and deliver scalable, maintainable frontend applications.
- Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
- Transform UX/UI concepts into responsive and accessible user experiences.
- Implement client-side functionality, state management, authentication, authorization, and integrations.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Develop automated tests, contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of professional IT experience with a master’s degree or equivalent, or 12–17 years with a bachelor’s degree.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Angular v14+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and ES6+.
- Experience with UI development, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, Git, Jira, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks and complex client-side functionality.
- Upper-intermediate English at B2+ level or higher required.
- Applicants must work remotely from Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania.
