Game Test Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden — hybrid. Applicants must be eligible to work in Sweden.

What you will do

• Test online slot games across multiple platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, mobile, and cross-browser testing.
• Validate game mechanics, animations, sound effects, user interfaces, gameplay, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Work with developers, designers, and artists to troubleshoot issues and maintain quality throughout production.
• Help create test plans, scripts, and automated test cases while improving QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or at least 3 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer.
• Strong understanding of game development processes and QA methodologies.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML5 and CSS, client-server architecture, and Chrome DevTools.
• Experience with Git and platforms such as Bitbucket, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, clear bug reporting, communication, teamwork, and a passion for gaming.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting or test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Experience testing RNG-based games.
• Knowledge of compliance testing for gaming regulations.
• Experience in the online slot games industry.
