TL;DR
Senior Frontend Engineer (Fintech): Building high-performance trading, analytics, and portfolio management interfaces for wealth managers and financial institutions with an accent on React, TypeScript, Next.js architecture, and complex financial workflows. Focus on designing server and client boundaries, optimizing hydration and runtime performance, scaling shared component infrastructure, and delivering tested multi-tenant production UIs.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; onsite in the city-center office. Candidates should already be based in Copenhagen or be ready to relocate. Working from home is possible when there is a good reason.

What you will do
- Build high-performance trading, analytics, portfolio management, and financial workflow interfaces.
- Co-own front-end architecture across Next.js, React Server Components, TypeScript, and shared application infrastructure.
- Define server and client boundaries, hydration strategies, state patterns, and data-fetching approaches.
- Scale the shared component library and multi-tenant theming across the platform.
- Improve bundle size, rendering behavior, runtime performance, and application responsiveness.
- Strengthen testing and delivery with Vitest or Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, and CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- Strong production experience with React and TypeScript in sophisticated web applications.
- Understanding of modern React architecture, React Server Components, and the Next.js App Router.
- Experience improving performance through bundle-size, hydration, rendering, data-fetching, and runtime decisions.
- Experience with TanStack Query, component systems, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
- Experience shipping tested production software with Vitest or Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Based in Copenhagen or willing to relocate to Copenhagen; the role is onsite.
Nice to have
- Experience with trading, investment management, portfolio analytics, or other data-intensive financial applications.
- Experience with AG Grid or comparable data-grid infrastructure.
- Experience with pnpm, Turborepo, OpenAPI-generated API types, multi-tenant systems, or configurable themes.
- Experience mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on.
