TL;DR
Site Reliability Engineer 2 (Cloud/DevOps): Operating and evolving Quickbase's cloud-native platform with an accent on reliability, scalability, monitoring, automation, and secure production support. Focus on incident response, root cause analysis, deployment automation, and improving infrastructure performance across AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (remote or hybrid); remote work is expected from 8 AM to 5 PM local time for team coverage.

What you will do

  • Handle operational support requests and moderately complex escalations from Customer Support and Product Development.
  • Monitor and maintain production and non-production systems while improving instrumentation, issue detection, and service-level performance.
  • Execute coordinated software deployments and improve deployment automation and release processes.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems for moderately complex issues.
  • Participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation and provide peer support to newer SRE team members.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1–2 years of experience in SRE, IT administration, technology, operations, or software support.
  • Administrative or power-user experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Ability to independently write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficient spoken and written English required.
  • Availability for remote work from 8 AM to 5 PM local time and participation in the 7x24 on-call rotation required.

Nice to have

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
  • Splunk Power User certification.
