Finance Controller (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Bitola or Skopje, North Macedonia

hirify.global operates a multi-entity, multi-currency SaaS business across Denmark, North Macedonia, the UK, and the US.

What you will do

• Lead the month-end close, maintain general ledger accuracy, prepare reporting packs, and review journals and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Manage subscription revenue, deferred revenue, ARR/MRR reconciliations, and billing issue resolution with Sales and Customer Success.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, aged receivables, intercompany recharges, and foreign-exchange adjustments.
• Coordinate VAT, payroll tax, statutory reporting, annual financial statements, and audits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain internal controls and supporting documentation while improving and automating finance processes.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and collaborate with finance, leadership, and non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity international environment; SaaS or subscription-business experience is advantageous.
• Strong accounting knowledge, ERP and accounting-system proficiency, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken business English; ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bitola or Skopje, North Macedonia.
