Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack, Java/React)

Location: Hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic; applications are accepted from candidates based in the Czech Republic or with sponsorship to live and work there.

What you will do

• Own backend services supporting frontend products, including building, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining them.
• Build and extend micro frontends, shared platform code, design-system components, and customer-facing features using TypeScript and React, with some Vue.
• Write tests, add observability, and configure alerting to keep services reliable and maintainable.
• Break customer problems into deliverable work and design new and existing features.
• Explain technical concepts to Product, Support, Technical Communication, and Cloud colleagues.
• Mentor teammates and contribute expertise across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade software, including strong testing and quality-assurance practices.
• Senior-level ownership of backend services across development, deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.
• Hands-on backend experience, preferably with Java.
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript and React skills; Vue experience is welcome.
• Experience building reusable frameworks or libraries such as design systems, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, authorization, or shared state systems.
• Experience with agile teams, strong communication, and AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience with micro frontends.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
