Software Quality Engineer (Medical Robotics)

What you will do

• Plan and execute component-level and end-to-end system tests with documented results.
• Participate in verification and validation testing for current and future products, features, and modules.
• Design, plan, and write verification and validation documentation according to product requirements.
• Estimate testing effort and timelines for existing and future products, features, and modules.
• Lead software lifecycle activities, documentation, and regulatory-related tasks.
• Collaborate with development, applications, project management, and customer support teams, and assist with testing assignments and field-issue investigations.

Requirements

• Scientific or engineering degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software testing engineer.
• Experience with software lifecycle procedures and documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• MSc. in a related field.
• Biomedical system testing experience.
• ISTQB certification and manual testing experience.
• Code or batch writing ability.
• Experience operating complex software and hardware.
