Software Engineer III, Cloud

Location: Onsite at 488 8th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States

Salary: $135,699–$156,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design and develop automation workflows for cloud products.
• Write unit, integration, and system tests and conduct code reviews.
• Push and maintain production code and provide production support.
• Measure and debug performance bottlenecks across multiple products.
• Ship features end to end across frontend, backend, CI, and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least one year of experience as a Software Engineer, R&D Engineer, or in a related position.
• Experience building full-stack cloud applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Knowledge of REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and producing technical documentation, including architecture and sequence diagrams.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices.
