TL;DR
Intern, Business Intelligence (FinTech): Building robust datasets, dimensional models, and self-service BI capabilities for Finance, Product, and Operations with an accent on SQL, data quality, and dashboard enablement. Focus on designing domain-relevant datasets, maintaining dbt models, and improving scalable data workflows for data-driven decision-making.
Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid working model combining onsite collaboration and remote work. An additional 25 days per year may be available to work from a city or country of choice, subject to the applicable policy.

What you will do
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations to identify reporting needs and design relevant datasets.
- Maintain and improve data quality using dbt models, SQL, and optionally Python.
- Streamline dashboard creation and support the self-service BI platform.
- Support dimensional models and the core data layer for advanced analytics.
- Use version control workflows to maintain scalable and reliable data models.
Requirements
- Current near-graduation student or recent graduate in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong practical foundation in SQL, data modeling, and relational database concepts.
- Practical familiarity with Git version control workflows and modern BI visualization tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Prior internship experience in a dynamic environment.
- Exposure to dbt models.
