TL;DR
Process Control Engineer (Automation): Designing, implementing, and optimizing automated process control systems for manufacturing operations with an accent on PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networks, and process performance analytics. Focus on improving process stability, equipment reliability, and production efficiency through root cause analysis, continuous improvement, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and smart manufacturing integration.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize automated process control systems and control strategies.
  • Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communication network solutions.
  • Analyze process and equipment performance data to improve process capability, production efficiency, system availability, and product quality.
  • Investigate process deviations and automation issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support commissioning, validation, qualification, capital projects, and manufacturing technology upgrades.
  • Contribute to Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, IIoT, automation standards, technical documentation, and personnel training.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation, process control, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing environments, industrial control systems, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of PID control, loop tuning, PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, industrial communication protocols, and networking.
  • Experience with SPC, process capability analysis, MES, data acquisition systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, quality, environmental, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements; relevant vendor certifications are an advantage.
