What you will do
- Evaluate machine-learning model outputs against financial theory, market dynamics, client objectives, and investment constraints.
- Translate research signals into investment strategies, portfolio construction frameworks, and algorithmic specifications.
- Design, prototype, and scale quantitative models in Python and Java.
- Collaborate with ML researchers to refine models and incorporate financial domain expertise into model design.
- Develop financial validation and testing frameworks for backtesting, scenario analysis, model diagnostics, and continuous improvement.
- Align research outputs with investment objectives and integrate them into production workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.
- Strong Python and Java programming skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience interpreting, validating, or stress-testing quantitative or machine-learning models.
- Ability to translate investment concepts into technical requirements and communicate quantitative insights to technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with Git-based workflows, including branching, code reviews, and version control.
- Experience using LLMs and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to deliver precise results in high-pressure, collaborative, and deadline-driven environments.
