We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) | International Logistics

📍 Location: Astana, Kazakhstan

Our client, an international company operating in the logistics and supply chain sector, is looking for a hands-on CEO to lead its operations in Kazakhstan, drive business growth, and develop scalable business processes.

Key requirements:
• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a CEO/General Management role or a position with P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of establishing, improving, and scaling business operations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and Kazakhstan legislation.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL, international or multimodal transportation, railway logistics, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
• Established business network and proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and secure new contracts.
• Excellent business reputation, transparency, and a hands-on management approach.
• Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

Key responsibilities:
• Oversee operational performance and service delivery for a major international client.
• Drive business development, acquire new customers, and secure long-term contracts.
• Establish efficient processes, KPIs, and a high-performing team.
• Manage the companies P&L, working capital, tax matters, and compliance with Kazakhstan legislation.
• Build strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders across industrial, international, and government organization's.
