Fullstack QA Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work available

Salary: EUR 2400–3900 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Own the test strategy for the worker app, WebView, back office, and backend services from test planning through release sign-off.
• Test photo, voice, video, and text capture and upload across Android and iOS devices, unstable networks, interrupted uploads, and on-device validation.
• Verify task reservations, quotas, campaign lifecycles, submission statuses, review cycles, labeling consensus, and buyer isolation.
• Validate accruals, balances, payout batches, reconciliation, consent management, data erasure, and audit trails.
• Build and maintain end-to-end and API automation in CI and perform load testing of task queues and data ingestion.
• Investigate failures using logs, metrics, traces, databases, and message queues across distributed services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack QA Engineer.
• Experience with functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across onboarding, consent, task queues, data capture, review, earnings, and payouts.
• Automation experience with Java or Kotlin, REST and/or gRPC APIs, Postman, Selenium or Selenide, and Appium.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, duplicate events, and eventual consistency.
• Experience testing financial flows, privacy requirements, time- and quota-based logic, distributed services, and partner outages.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana, Kafka, SQL, and MySQL. English: Intermediate+ or higher required.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or TypeScript for automation.
• Playwright or Cypress experience.
• Experience testing mobile media capture, external service integrations, cloud storage, LLM providers, and payout partners.
• Experience with load and performance testing.
