Senior Software Engineer (Mobile Android)

Location: Remote within the United States; Boston Area, New York City, or San Francisco

Salary: $200,000–$235,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and ship high-quality features for the native Android application.
• Develop the primary interface for controlling and configuring hirify.global products.
• Deliver personalized sleep and recovery insights through the mobile experience.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with backend, firmware, and ML engineers, as well as R&D, Growth, Hardware, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience shipping high-quality features for native Android applications.
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI.
• Experience building scalable, testable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining stability.
• High standards for product quality and mobile performance.

Nice to have

• Experience building custom UI components with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience developing software for hardware products, especially in the health or medical field.
• Experience with health-related applications and peripherals.
