What you will do
- Lead the development of complex 2D and 3D CAD/BIM models, construction documents, technical drawings, visualizations, and renderings.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other discipline models into unified project designs.
- Set and monitor CAD/BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across large-scale projects.
- Perform advanced quality control reviews for accuracy, consistency, regulatory compliance, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design issues and adjust models and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate designers while troubleshooting complex design and software issues.
Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or certification, in CAD, BIM, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in CAD/BIM design on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Ability to work with advanced 2D and 3D modeling, construction documentation, coordination, and quality control.
Nice to have
- Advanced certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or another BIM software.
- Leadership or supervisory experience within CAD/BIM design teams.
