AI Product Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; on-site in the San Francisco office five days per week

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, depending on experience, plus competitive equity

hirify.global is recruiting for a client developing AI-driven software products for legal workflows.

What you will do

• Build and enhance AI-driven software with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
• Work with customers, sales, and engineering to turn user needs into shipped product features.
• Test, debug, and optimize the product for a smooth user experience.
• Implement and troubleshoot the product during customer onboarding and integrations.
• Document technical designs, processes, and evolving systems.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience, ideally with SaaS or AI products.
• Production proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or another relevant programming language.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks, machine learning concepts, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and deliver practical solutions at startup pace.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work in the San Francisco office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in legal tech, healthtech, or document-intensive SaaS.
• Experience building AI pipelines for document processing or information extraction.
