Data & ML Engineer (Industrial IoT)

What you will do

• Translate product and engineering challenges into practical, data-driven solutions with engineering, product, and domain teams.
• Explore complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and evaluate statistical models and machine learning approaches for asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, forecasting, and optimization.
• Build and improve data pipelines, transformations, and supporting tooling.
• Implement maintainable analytical and modeling solutions that can be integrated into products.
• Evaluate performance, investigate issues, and communicate technical trade-offs and findings clearly.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills and proficiency in SQL.
• Practical experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Knowledge of classification, regression, anomaly detection, forecasting, or optimization techniques.
• Experience working with complex datasets and developing data-driven solutions.
• Engineering fundamentals including Git, testing, documentation, maintainable code, data pipelines, data quality, model evaluation, and validation.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial, IoT, sensor, or time-series data.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance, asset monitoring, or industrial optimization.
• Experience integrating and maintaining data-driven capabilities in production environments.
• Experience working with domain experts on complex operational problems.
