Manager - Asset Manager Services (Fund Accounting) (Private Equity/Real Estate): Leading fund accounting services for Private Equity and Real Estate clients, including financial statements, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and client reporting with an accent on technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and client service. Focus on managing accounting teams, improving and automating fund accounting processes, strengthening controls, and resolving complex stakeholder and delivery issues.
Location: Moka, Mauritius; hybrid with 2 days in the office

provides tech-enabled asset management, corporate, issuer, private wealth, regulatory, and compliance services to financial institutions, asset managers, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.
What you will do
- Own a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients and oversee accurate, timely fund accounting services.
- Review financial statements, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, reconciliations, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
- Build relationships with clients, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders while resolving service issues.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting professionals, including workload management and deliverable reviews.
- Improve and automate fund accounting processes through planning, resource management, and operational controls.
- Monitor profitability, billing, timesheets, service metrics, risks, governance, and opportunities for additional services.
Requirements
- Fully qualified ACCA or ACA.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in fund accounting, accounting, audit, or financial services.
- Strong expertise in Private Equity and Real Estate fund accounting, fund reporting, NAV production, waterfall calculations, and IFRS reporting.
- Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams in a fund accounting environment.
- Hands-on experience with eFront, Paxus, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
