Location: Moka, Mauritius; hybrid working

What you will do
- Lead fund accounting delivery for private equity and real estate client portfolios.
- Oversee NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, financial statements, management accounts, tax filings, reconciliations, and client reporting.
- Manage key client relationships and coordinate with auditors, administrators, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting teams, including resource planning, workload allocation, succession planning, and performance management.
- Drive process optimisation, automation, standardisation, and effective use of fund accounting systems.
- Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, utilisation, recovery metrics, risks, and regulatory compliance while supporting business development and client onboarding.
Requirements
- ACCA or ACA qualification.
- 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, including significant experience leading fund accounting teams.
- Strong practical knowledge of private equity and real estate fund accounting, fund structures, financial reporting, waterfall calculations, and IFRS.
- At least 5 years of people management or leadership experience.
- Strong systems knowledge, including eFront, PAXUS, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational, analytical, decision-making, and process improvement skills.

- Postgraduate qualification.
- Fund administration experience.
- Experience with Value Financials.
