Lead Audio Designer (Unreal)

What you will do

• Collaborate with the audio team to deliver high-quality audio experiences for games.
• Contribute across recording, sound design, mixing, and audio implementation.
• Work with designers, programmers, and producers to craft game experiences.
• Define and achieve the game’s audio vision together with the Audio Director.
• Own the design and implementation of best-in-class sound effects.
• Guide and support other audio team members through collaboration and feedback.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of industry-standard audio tools, ideally Reaper.
• Strong knowledge of game engines, ideally Unreal Engine.
• Understanding of sound design techniques and mixing practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to feedback.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Guildford, Surrey.

Nice to have

• Previous AAA game development experience.
• Specialist audio expertise in recording, mixing, or implementation.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
• A proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and produce results.
