Focus on designing reliable payment reporting and monitoring, solving chargeback and failed-renewal challenges, and using data and AI tooling to improve payment operations.

What you will do
- Own the live multi-PSP payment infrastructure, including orchestration, routing, cascading, failover, MID management, and processing resilience.
- Improve subscription billing performance through approval-rate optimization, renewals, retries, dunning, and failed-payment recovery.
- Build unified billing analytics and decision-oriented BI reporting with the Data team.
- Establish reliable payment reporting, reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, and incident-management processes.
- Manage payment risk across chargebacks, fraud, refunds, disputes, and card-scheme monitoring programs such as VAMP and SMMP.
- Own PSP and acquirer relationships, provider strategy, billing requirements, and cross-functional payment initiatives with Engineering, Product, Growth, Finance, and Legal.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payments, acquiring, billing, or payment operations on the merchant side of B2C subscription products.
- Hands-on experience with the full recurring payment lifecycle, including initial charges, renewals, retries, dunning, and failed-payment recovery.
- Practical experience configuring multi-PSP infrastructure, orchestration, routing, cascading, failover, and MID management.
- Strong understanding of payment risk, chargebacks, fraud, disputes, decline codes, and card-scheme monitoring programs.
- Experience with payment reporting, analytics, PSP selection and onboarding, Tier 1 markets—especially the US—and multiple products, entities, or jurisdictions.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher; role based in Cyprus.
